We offer a wide assortment of natural and organic groceries, bulk foods, refrigerated & dairy products, and frozen foods, as well as vitamins and herbs. Rainbow features the largest selection of fresh organic produce in Southeast Alaska, including over 60 different produce items every day. Our lunch bar serves soup, pizza, hot entrees, sandwiches, and salads every weekday from 11 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. We also bake fresh bread, muffins, scones, cookies and other yummy treats every weekday in our kitchen. Special Orders
If there is a product you are looking for at Rainbow Foods that you cannot find, often we can special order it for you. If what you are looking for is available through one of our regular distributors or manufacturers, we can order it with our next regular order. So if you don't see it, please ask!

Mail Orders
If you live outside of Juneau, Rainbow Foods offers a mail order shopping service. We can take your order by phone and either ship it by U.S. mail, or take it to the Juneau airport where it can be shipped via the carrier of your choice. Generally we make runs to the airport on Wednesdays and Fridays. Mail orders are charged a packing and handling fee which is generally around 10% but may be more or less depending on the complexity of your order.

Good Clean Food
The products we carry are pure, mostly. We strive to sell wholesome foods in a comparatively unprocessed state. This doesn't mean you will never find sugar or white flour in any of our products. However, when you do find them, they will usually be organic. You will not find artificial sweeteners, preservatives, hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated fats, or genetically engineered ingredients in any of our foods because we believe these ingredients are bad for you
